Mount Baldo is a destination all picture lovers should not miss when visiting Lake Garda. On a fine day, it is possible to admire Garda’s entire reach from the top (55 kilometres from
Riva to
Peschiera). The same cableway which brings one up from
Malcesine to the top was made in order to admire the breathtaking view: in fact, the cabin rotates at 360° while it goes up, allowing everyone to admire and to take pictures of the splendid view from different points.
Mount Baldo and the wonderful views
Mount Baldo is a mountainous massif having a main ridge going from north-east to south-west, insinuated between Val d'Adige and Lake Garda. The massif is divided into two parts from the mouth of Navene (1.430 metres). The part on the south is the one which is part of the group reaching the maximum altitude: Valdritta peak, on the border between the provinces of Trento and Verona, (2.218 metres). The northern part’s maximum elevation is represented by Monte Altissimo, 2.078 metres high, located in the province of Trento.

Peschiera del Garda,

Desenzano, Moniga. The landscape is typically Mediterranean.
