B&B La Tinassara is located only one kilometer from the picturesque town of Lazise on Lake Garda. It was found in a house built in the late nineteenth century as a summer residence for the Bishop of Verona. It was later inhabited by a peasant family that produced wine, hence the name 'Tinassara', that is, the cellar where the vats are located. The current owners have renovated the rooms, paying particular attention to the use of natural materials and the reduction of electromagnetic waves. The house was built along the lines of the underground water; the natural flows of the water do not cross the rooms. The beds are completely made of wood and the mattresses of 'microcells', that is, material that are not organic and hypoallergenic, which ensures maximum hygiene. Each room is equipped with a switch for turning off the electrical current and to stop any electromagnetic waves when no heat or light source is used. All the materials used are natural, and the original materials of the house have been recycled where possible. The renovation of the house was made with lime instead of cement where possible. The water of the house which comes from a natural spring source and is distributed from the municipal aqueduct is treated and filtered to make it lighter and diuretic. Several of the rooms at the B&B La Tinassara have a cozy fireplace and free Internet.
