To visit on the Lake Garda

Il Vittoriale : Museum : Gardone

The Vittoriale is a Citadel that stands on about nine hectares of land. The whole architectonic complex is walled in. The site is an extraordinary monumental complex which is composed by d’Annunzio’s house “Prioria”, a set of buildings, a large Amphitheatre the largest open-air theatre of Lake Garda, that holds an important Summer season, avenues, squares as the Esedra and the Piazzetta Dalmata, gardens and parks including fountains as the Fontana del Delfino and streams.
In the museum, visitors can admire the SVA 10 biplane, by which d’Annunzio flew on his memorable Flight over Vienna, on August 9th 1918, the antisubmarine speedboat MAS 96, which he used to participate in the “Buccari Escapade” during the night between February 10th and 11th 1918, as well as motor-cars such as a Fiat car model 4 and an Isotta Fraschini car.

Funivia Monte Baldo : Panoramic Cableway : Malcesine

To promote and sustain tourism on Lake Garda, a consortium formed by the Provincial Authority, the Chamber of Commerce of Verona and the Town Council of Malcesine, founded the cableway company known as Azienda Trasporti Funicolari Malcesine - Monte Baldo, in 1955.
The company's Board of Directors is particularly sensitive to the needs of the area, and in fact it is formed by representatives from social and economic organisations operating on Lake Garda and within the Mount Baldo community.
The cableway is not merely an attraction to bring in tourists with the aim of keeping the mountain economy alive, it is also a source of employment for specialist workers, and technical and administrative employees, all of whom are needed to operate the system, making it known throughout the world.
Not only that, but the cableway is also the basis for the induced activity of specialist firms in the sector as well as for those who - directly or indirectly - work with the hotel and restaurant trade.

Grotte di Catullo : Museum : Sirmione

The ruins of the Roman villa which for centuries has been known as the “Caves of Catullo” are the most famous example of a private gentleman’s building in the entire northern area of Italy. I resti della villa romana nota da secoli con il nome di "Grotte di Catullo" costituiscono l'esempio più grandioso di edificio privato di carattere signorile di tutta l'Italia settentrionale. The villa, located in a splendid panoramic position, at the end of the peninsula of Sirmione, in between an olive-yard, is built on three different levels in order to overpass the rock’s natural inclination.

Parco della Lessinia : Park : B. Chiesanuova

The park encompasses within its perimeter various architectural kinds of jewels which are part of Lessinia’s tradition, an evidence which shows the way man used the territory. The suggestive districts are areas for permanent settlement which are distributed on the medium average mountain level belt, and, in the higher part of Lessinia, situated in dominant positions, there are temporary huts connected to Alpine pasture. Other typical elements of the human landscape are sheep tracks and fencing built with rock sheets which are vertically implanted into the ground or with dry-walling.

Parco del Mincio : Park : Ponti S/M, Monzambano, Mantova

Environmental education and Ecotourism - Visits, excursions, workshops and teaching projects: environmental education and ecotourism activities have a double aim of giving value to the natural and anthropic heritage of Mincio Park’s territory and of being a support for the school system in order to establish environmental education activities to make our future sustainable.

Parco di Molina : Park : Molina

Besides sparkling Falls, the park also offers visitors a landscape with woods and meadows which are frequently interrupted by torrents and water shores which coast the sweetness of greenery in its unlimited variety of vegetation and along the grey colours of the crags.

Giardino Botanico : Park : Gardone Riviera

Between 1910 and 1971, naturalist and botanist, Dr. Arturo Hruska created a 1 hectare minature dolomitic garden. Inside the garden you can admire lakelets, streams and original hydraulic engineering solutions. In addition, the garden includes the most interesting Alpine flora species and many botanical rarities. Since 1989 it is owned by Austrian multi-media artist André Heller, who has made it become precious thanks to numerous contemporary art works.

Parco Alto Garda : Park : Gargnano

The Park’s museum represents the union between the mountain and the lake: in fact, it holds the documented and amazing synthesis of the many naturalistic and landscape interests characterizing Garda’s territory and hinterland. The museum’s modern exposition spaces show the visitor all the extraordinary landscapes which both natural events and man have been able to model.
